I remember just dreaming 10 years ago about seeing visual-kei bands like Malice Mizer, L'Arc-En-Ciel and Luna Sea being able to come overseas and perform in North America. This report confirmed it.

I know some of the big bands like SKIN and L'Arc en Ciel performed at Anime Expo and Otakon, but at least they and their companies making the effort to come here to perform to the fans who don't live or can't afford to go to Japan. I would LOVE to see X-Japan come to NYC or some city close to Montreal, and maybe if they ever get together, see SKIN live.

But at least for now some lucky people get to have the chance to see their favourite band perform live. I wish Malice-Mizer would regroup and perform here. *sigh*

Pool | Port Stanley, ON, Canada

(A mother approaches me, violently dragging her two teenage boys along.)

Mother: “I demand you call the police immediately and have them arrest those ‘flashers’ at once!”

(She motions to the two topless girls on the beach.)

Me: “Actually, here in Ontario, it’s legal for women to go topless. Are you not from around here?”

Mother: “I am from America where we have morals and standards. You people sicken me! They are far too young to be doing that!”

Me: “Sorry, ma’am, but there is technically no age limit on the law. It applies the same as it does to your sons.”

Mother: “Is there not a family section for decent people to enjoy the beach without these sick perverts exposing themselves to everyone?”

Me: “Again, I apologize, but it’s not about the beach. It’s legal for women of any age to go topless anywhere outdoors they please…same as men.”

Mother: “I will sue this whole country for punitive damages! My sons will be scarred for life!”

(Her sons are clearly scarred, as they are staring at the topless girls with huge grins on their faces. All of a sudden, three more topless girls walk past. She attempts to cover both her sons’ eyes with her hands.)

Mother: “Heathens! You will all burn in h***! Sinners and perverts, that’s all you Canadians are!”

That story up there broke my heart today. I knew something would happen to him, because I kept hearing about this cat. If the hit and run was planned by a cat-hater (because there are alot of sick fucks out there) I will pay the 1000$, travel to Britland, and kick his ass for causing pain to a living creature and to his owners.

;_; RIP Casper.

This makes me worried...

A former KGB/former Russian president at a hip hop show, rubbing shoulders with the gangsta underworld, it cannot bode well.

AHHAHAHAHA, just kidding. At least he encourages a healthy lifestyle through breakdancing. But if he started doing some windmills, it would be 10+ points of respect and power to him.

Yay, Halloween is coming up sonn. I love it because it's a time when I can dress up (except at cons and photoshoots) and get candy at reduced prices or free even. I'm planning to be Lady Gaga this year, because a) it's easy to do and b) because I freakin' love her!

Watch the madness unfold, see what you're wearing to my Halloween party! )

Dear lil' brat on the bus at 12:13 PM en-route to LG,

cover your damn mouth when you cough and cover your damn nose when you sneeze. You have made me sick and I cannot afford to be sick when I have a busy school week ahead. If I ever see you again I will kick you in the face so you will learn to cover your mouth and nose so you consider the health of your peers around you.

I went to a small Japanese shop and found a takoyaki making set. It's only 24$, but it's the skillet with about 16 holes to make the balls in it. And I found nigiri making sets, o-cha ceremony sets and kimono and accessories. It's truly a Japanophile's haven. :3

I think I will spend my hard-earned Thanksgiving work day money on the takoyaki and nigiri making sets. Just because I like sushi and Japanese food, plus it will be interesting to make something new at home with them. ;)

Argh, I wish I didn't have to spend all my money on food-related things. I'm such a glutton.

In other news, I got 84% on my art history quiz. Oh yea!!!!

I don't why it took me this long, but I finally found the video of the UQAM students doing a one-shot take of Black Eyed Peas' song "I Gotta Feeling". It's one of the best movies I have seen made in a long time. And in case you're wondering, at the end of the music video they're repeating the chorus in French. ;) Holla MTL!

As well, the Emilie Autumn concert last night was phenomenal. I will post vids/pics later when the camera finishes recharging.

Yesterday my friend showed me two clips from BBC's "Comedy with a cause". The first link is Daniel Craig who is dating Catherine Tate, whom doesn't believe Daniel is an actor and 007. The second link is about the dude who plays Dr. Who and is substituting for an English class while dealing with a bratty teenager (played by Catherine Tate again).

Argh, I'm so annoyed by the Cable and Local TV station ads. Cable says that local is trying to raise taxes, while local is saying cable makes people overpay. What I have to say is bring back good programming and people will watch TV again. Especially you, CBC. Your programs have been dull as of late. ;P

To all Videotron users: they consider watching movies on YouTube and other streamlined sites to be downloading. If you go over your bandwidth in a month they charge you 30 bucks extra. I found that out this morning (sadly too late).

I really wish I could have Rogers internet service in Quebec. It's so much better and costs less. :(

All right, I need some help in the focus and detemination department. Like, the old breathing in and out technique isn't doing anything and I've got the attention span of a goldfish-jackrabbit hybrid.

Does anybody know of ways that can help me refocus and set my determination back to the task on hand? Sitting in front of a computer screen, with internet access mind you, it's easy for me to be distracted. I'm trying to stop fidgetting and being distracted by other things, but I can't. What can I do to stop this?

Also, I'm handing in a big 3D chess set project tomorrow that took me around 2 weeks to model. It's not great as one of my classmate's (hers is epic!) but I think I did all right. Here's hoping the printer doesn't crap out but most likely will. ;)

- Lots of updates on my favourite fanfics that I've been waiting around for weeks. You know who you are. ;)
- The cola bears at work tasted great.
- Able to exercise at home again.
- I'm progressing nicely with my artwork.
- Tomorrow is a day off. Fuck ya!

This is my new way to count the positives of my life so I don't feel like an ungrateful brat.

Yesterday I made a quick pause to an area where a lady was hit by a fallen concrete block from a hotel above her. She was celebrating her 33rd birthday with her husband. Story is here if anyone wants to read it.

The area was blocked off by guards and those rails used for parades, and it was pretty... haunting, to say the least. I saw the gap left by the concrete slab, plus the crashed remains of where the block struck in the restaurant.

It's just shitty, plain and simple. Here's a lady, on her 33rd birthday, celebrating it with her husband in their favourite restaurant. Seconds later, she is crushed and killed, her husband losing some of his fingers and in severe shock. This is the kind of stuff that happens in shows Dead Like Me.

Either way, this event gave me yet another realization that life is short and you never know when your time is up. :(

I never want to leave this world without doing something monumental in my life.

I just want to wish my Canadian friends a Happy Canada Day. (That includes you, Peter Cullen, aka voice actor of Optimus Prime. Gawd, I'm such a geek!)

And I saw Revenge of the Fallen a second time. Boy, it doesn't get any better than this. XD
